Dr. Jones has very "skilled hands." To be sure, that is very important. He is meticulous. I see it every time I work with him in the operating room. But, beyond that, I also witness his caring and his respect for his patients (even as they are under anesthesia). His goal is for total patient satisfaction. No way would he ever "cut corners," or be satisfied with "good enough." During my over forty years of being an operating room RN, I've worked with some plastic surgeons who constantly look at the clock during surgery - "time is money." While Dr. Jones makes his living performing surgery, and caring for his patients, he is not driven, or motivated, solely by earning a living. He is driven by performing quality surgical procedures that make his patients look better, and feel better about themselves. In, and out, of the operating room, Dr. Jones has a very relaxed demeanor. He listens well, and gives information in a clear, understandable manner. He will answer as many questions as you might have. I really liked that, post-op, he was only a phone-call away, if I had any concerns or questions. He didn't give me his cell phone number just because I work with him; he makes himself available to all of his patients. Dr. Jones did not give me any "special treatment," based on the fact that I work with him. He gave me the same excellent, quality care that he gives to each of his patients. And, that's exactly why I chose him to perform my surgery. I am extremely happy with the result, and the entire course of my eyelid surgery. *Even though there's a box, here, for me to check, certifying that this is really my experience, and that I'm not being paid to write this, etc., I feel the need to convey to you, myself, that this review reflects my honest opinion of my experience. I have not received, or been offered, any compensation to promote Dr. Jones. In my work, I take satisfaction in being able to tell my patients (when it's true), "You have a good surgeon. I would let him/her operate on me or my loved-ones." In the instances where I don't hold a favorable opinion of a particular surgeon's abilities, I can say nothing.
