Training and background
Dr. Lovell's journey in plastic surgery began after she completed her residency in General Surgery at the renowned Emory University. During a rotation at the end of her intern year, she fell in love with the field of Plastic Surgery. It was during this time that she also met her husband, Dr. Barath Badrinathan, a fellow General Surgery resident and now a Vascular Surgeon at Emory. Their shared professional interests deepened their connection, and they are now blessed with a daughter. Dr. Lovell's pursuit of excellence in plastic surgery led her to complete a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio. During her fellowship, she had the opportunity to train at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic and study under acclaimed facial plastic surgeon Dr. Bahman Guyuron. Dr. Lovell is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, assuring her patients of her exceptional qualifications.
